Pet Links

The HSUS has a wonderful website which offers an array of very useful information. It’s a great resource to turn to whenever you have a question regarding any animal or pet.

Coachella Valley SPCA
(Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
CVSPCA’s mission is to help the pets and animals here in the Coachella Valley by providing information to our citizens that will help them in time of need. It is their goal to alert all of our citizens of the need for spaying/neutering, microchipping, and compassion.

Pet over-population, cruelty, and negligence must come to an end! We can reach this goal with everyone’s help and awareness.

CVSPCA’s website is www.cvspca.com. It’s a valuable resource and holds a tremendous amount of information that will help both residents and visitors alike.

Poison Hotline
Think your pet has ingested something poisonous? Seek help immediately. First, call your veterinarian or emergency pet care clinic. Help is also available from the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center, whose telephone hotline provides 24-hour-a-day assistance to veterinarians and pet guardians. The hotline number is: 888-4ANI-HELP (888-426-4435)

Post it prominently in your home. Staffed by board certified toxocologists, the center provides detailed diagnostic and treatment options. There is a consultation fee, payable by credit card at the time of the call.
